People Are Scratching Their Heads Over A Video Of A Crow Looking Like A Gorilla

Crows are remarkable and mysterious creatures. Now considered to be among the most intelligent of all animals, this member of the family Corvidae (along with ravens, rooks and magpies, among others) is steeped in symbolism, featuring prominently in mythology and superstition throughout human history.

While some legends associate the crow with death, darkness and misfortune; others, like Native American and Aboriginal Australian folklores, regard the crow as a trickster, who used his wit and intelligence to create mischief. There are countless tales about the playful shenanigans of the crow; some tribes saw them as stealers of souls, while other stories portray crows and ravens as symbols of transformation.
